FACTS-NSF 336

The Association of Contract Textiles (ACT) uses Facts to identify textiles meeting NSF/ANSI 336, a standard for sustainability in fiber sourcing, material safety, and manufacturing processes like water conservation and social accountability. Earning a Facts Silver, Gold, or Platinum rating depends on additional sustainability criteria.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 - environmental ISO-This environmental stand would apply to the sustainable practices within specific mills or tanneries that we work with in the US and abroad.

OEKO-TEX® 100 Certified

OEKO-TEX® simply means that each ingredient in a particular fabric is evaluated and certified to be safe for human health. Many of our new products from Europe meet this standard for using non-toxic chemicals.

Seaqual® Compliant

Being Seaqual® Compliant refers to adhering to the standards and requirements set by the Seaqual® Initiative, an organization dedicated to reducing marine plastic pollution and promoting sustainability in the textile and plastic industries. 

REACH™ Compliant

 REACH™ compliant refers to adherence to the Reach™ regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals), which is a European Union regulation (EC 1907/2006) aimed at improving the protection of human health and the environment from chemical risks.

A key ingredient in the development of our designs is the close relationships we have with our weaving mills. Through their weaving capabilities, yarn selections and depth of color options, we have found many domestic weavers who are extremely adept at developing our most signature designs. These mills are within a 500-mile radius of HBF Textiles with locations in North and South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. In addition, many of the yarns utilized within our fabric designs are produced in North and South Carolina.
