SPRING/SUMMER 2011

HBF Textiles introduces a multi-use group of three distinctive designs constructed with post-consumer recycled polyester yarns. The fabric designs reference clean, modern graphic roots with a range of scale that is applicable throughout a contract environment, whether it is applied on seating, wrapped for an upholstered wall application, or used in a private office tack panel system. The colorations connect progressive vibrant hues with colors stemming from natural materials such as wood and stone. These three patterns are comprised of 33 individual colorways.

Beveled Line is a multi-hued design created with alternating ribbed horizontal bands that are visually balanced with an accent, mid-value and neutral combination of color. Suitable for both seating and upholstered wall applications, the recycled polyester waste is re-purposed into a fabric that performs beyond heavy-duty abrasion numbers with no added chemical finishing.

Replicating the image of a spinning wheel or disc with a fixed rotation, Flywheel provides an energetic, larger-scaled graphic with an environmental material advantage. The textural dialogue suggests a hand-sewn stitched line that is inviting to both the hand and eye. Available in six crisp shades, Flywheel includes a GreenShield® stain repellant finish that is certified by SCS as a low-fluorocarbon treatment product while the finish simultaneously enhances the abrasion resistance factor.

Power up, flip a switch, turn a dial…our day comes to life as we engage a button. As a circular design in element in the Off & On fabric, this power button is repeated in bands of off and on commands which create a visually textured design. Off & On utilizes a lustrous warp satin weave combined with a matte yarn in the ground area. The flip side of the eight reversible colorways creates a complementary hue in a darker or lighter value. Due to its reversible personality, the fabric has no topical finishes added.
