Glenn Peckman is an established freelance designer of residential and contract textiles as well as the apparel industry. He holds a B.F.A. in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and worked two years as an apprentice in textile design with Ratti Silk in Como, Italy. During a thirteen-year association with Donghia Textiles, Glenn designed numerous fabric collections that are still recognized today as signature pieces. In addition, he has created product for such notable companies as Jack Lenor Larsen, Rodolph and Maharam prior to his venture with HBF Textiles.
Mr. Peckman's attuned sense of color is derived from his background as an artist as well as his sabbatical trips to Italy, Germany, New York and other parts of the world. Over the years, he has consulted with one of the premier German mills, establishing their color line and rendering textile art works for their introductions. He has been the recipient of a number of awards for his fabric designs; among them are an IBD Bronze Award for Upholstery Textiles, a first-place ASID Interior Design Product Award, and an Interior Design Roscoe Award for Best Textile Collection.
Glenn resides in the San Fransisco Bay area with his inquisitive daughter, Georgia, who inspires him daily.
